  • ✨ Welcome — I'm So Happy to Have You Here!

If this is your first massage, I’m truly honored to be part of your self-care journey. Here's what you can expect to help you feel comfortable and prepared:

    ⏰ Arrival Time

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first session. This gives us time to:

Complete a brief health history form

Discuss your goals and preferences for the session

Take care of payment before your massage begins

Your massage will start at the scheduled appointment time, so arriving early ensures we have a calm and relaxed check-in.

    💬 Communication is Key

This is your time, and your comfort is the top priority.

You can request more or less pressure at any time.

If something doesn’t feel right—such as a stretch or limb movement—just let me know.

You're always welcome to ask for specific focus areas or adjustments.

    🛏️ Getting on the Table

I’ll let you know whether to start face up, face down, or on your side, depending on your treatment plan.

Then I’ll step out to give you privacy while you:

Undress to your comfort level (underwear can stay on or come off — your choice)

Get settled on the table under the sheet and blanket

You will be professionally draped throughout your session — only the area being worked on will be uncovered, ensuring your comfort and modesty at all times.

  • Feeling Unwell? Please Reschedule

For the health and safety of all clients, please reschedule your appointment if any of the following apply:

    • You are currently sick or feel like you're coming down with a cold or flu

    • You have an unknown rash or a potentially contagious skin condition

    • You’ve been exposed to COVID-19 and are unsure whether you've contracted it

Taking these precautions helps protect both you and others — and ensures the most relaxing, restorative experience possible when you're feeling your best.

Thank you for your understanding and care for our shared space.

  • Life Happens — Just Keep Me Posted

I completely understand that life can throw curveballs — illness, emergencies, car trouble, or unexpected events can happen to any of us.

If something comes up, please text or call me before your appointment time so I can take you off the schedule and try to fill your spot. I appreciate as much notice as possible, even if it’s last minute.

While I do have office policies in place to ensure fairness and smooth scheduling, I also recognize that we’re all human. If last-minute cancellations become a pattern, we’ll have a respectful conversation about how to move forward.

However, if you miss your appointment without contacting me beforehand, it will be considered a no-show, and you will be charged the full session fee.

Thank you for understanding and for being thoughtful about your time and mine.

  • A Note from Me

Just like you, I’m human — and sometimes, unexpected things like illness, injury, emergencies, or car trouble can come up on my end too. I make every effort to avoid canceling appointments, and if I do, please know it’s for a good reason and never taken lightly.

If I ever need to reschedule, I will always notify you before your appointment time and do my best to find a new time that works for you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility — it means a lot.

  • Massage: Expectations vs. Reality

Massage is a powerful tool for healing, relaxation, and body awareness—but it's important to have realistic expectations about what it can and cannot do.

You’ve been living in your body for many years, and I’m working with you for just an hour (or slightly longer). While massage can offer significant relief, improve range of motion, and support your body in letting go of tension, it is not a quick fix for chronic or long-standing issues.

    Massage can:

    • Help muscles relax and reset

    • Increase awareness of where your body holds tension

    • Support joint mobility and postural alignment

    • Promote circulation and reduce stress

    • Sometimes help resolve muscular issues, especially when paired with consistent self-care

    But it may not:

    • Instantly undo years of physical habits or chronic conditions

    • Replace medical treatment when more serious or systemic issues are present

Consistency, self-care, and realistic goals will bring the greatest benefit. And if at any point I believe your symptoms may require further evaluation, I’ll always recommend that you consult with your primary care provider.

Massage works best when it’s part of a collaborative, ongoing approach to your overall well-being.
